The Foundation does not share, trade or sell any information it obtains from donors or grantees, through any online or personal transaction, including credit, debit, or any other financial information.
The Foundation will share very limited information it obtains from donors or grantees under the following circumstances and laws:
- IRS requirements of providing grantee information on the Foundation’s annual IRS form 990 filing which would include grant amount, grantee EIN and grant amount.
- IRS requirements of providing donor name and address on gifts received which exceed $5,000. This information is redacted by the IRS for any public access of this form 990 filing.
- If a donor makes a donation to a fund of the Foundation the donation amount and donor name and address is shared with the fund’s representative for the purposes of the fund’s representative to provide acknowledgment of the gift, unless the donor requests to be anonymous, in which case the donor information is not shared.
- If a donor makes a donation to a fund of the Foundation, in honor or in memory of someone, the donor name and address, but not the donated amount, is shared with the fund’s representative for the purposes of the fund’s representative to provide acknowledgment of the gift, unless the donor requests to be anonymous, in which case the donor information is not shared.
- Donor credit card information or bank account information is not shared with any outside party other than the bank originating or completing the financial transaction.
- Unless required by law, the Foundation does not share any other donor information.
