This fund is a special project fund to accept donations in response to wildfires that started in August 2024 in Mason County. Contributions will be combined with other support and the San Angelo Area Foundation will be able to use these funds to provide support back to organizations responding to the fire, like volunteer fire departments and other first responders. The Foundation will work closely with Mason County officials as well as the Texas Department of Emergency Managment to provide quick financial assistance to first responder organizations.
